Lotus Botanicals is a well-known natural-based skincare brand that has been making waves in India and beyond for many years. Founded in 1993, the brand has always been committed to creating products that are gentle on the skin and free from harsh chemicals such as parabens, SLS, and SLES.
My key reason for believing in this brand is that they are made with natural ingredients that have been carefully selected for their beneficial properties. They are also designed to be non-irritating, making them an excellent choice for people with sensitive skin.
So today, in this post, I will be reviewing their products that I hand-picked from their website.
Lotus Botanicals Bio-Retinol Youth Radiance Ultra Creme
This cream is designed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of ageing. The key ingredient in this cream is bio-retinol, a plant-based alternative to synthetic retinol. This makes it a great choice for people with sensitive skin looking for an effective anti-ageing solution.
Surprisingly, it also includes hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate the skin and improve its texture, and green tea extract, which is rich in antioxidants and helps to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
The cream also contains a blend of natural oils and butter, including shea butter, jojoba oil, and rosehip oil, which help to moisturize and nourish the skin. These ingredients work together to provide a powerful anti-ageing solution that is effective and gentle on the skin.
Lotus Botanicals Bio-Retinol Youth Radiance Face Wash
I really do not take face wash too seriously. For me, any face wash is good till the time it is not stripping off natural oils from my skin. However, I prefer my face cream and face wash to be from the same family to get the maximum benefit. This face wash contains a blend of natural and organic ingredients, including bio-retinol, that (I believe) would give me better results with my bio-retinol cream. Overall, the face wash has a creamy texture that lathers well and cleanses the skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight. I like its refreshing, natural fragrance and after usage, I do feel my skin feeling revitalized and energized.

Lotus Botanicals Red Onion Nutritive Hair Conditioner
Lately, red onion extract became quite popular due to its benefit on hair growth and hair shine. Red onion extract is rich in sulfur, which helps to improve hair growth, reduce hair fall, and prevent dandruff.
The conditioner spreads easily through the hair and that’s why you will experience lesser hair-fall while bathing. The best part is that it is free from harsh chemicals such as parabens, SLES, and SLS.
Lotus Botanicals Vitamin C Skin Brightening Day Creme
This face moisturiser comes with SPF 25++. And I really don’t like to apply a sun screen separately as it makes my skin greasy. This day cream contains a blend of natural and organic ingredients, including vitamin C, that work together to help reduce the appearance of dark spots, age spots, and other forms of hyperpigmentation. Vitamin C is known for its ability to brighten and even out the skin tone. The cream absorbs in the skin and doesn’t appear to be greasy but I don’t think this cream is suitable for people with oily skin. Overall, I would recommend this product as I don’t need to apply it again and keeps my skin moisturised all day long.
Lotus Botanicals is a comparatively new range from the house of Lotus Herbals. They also offers a range of makeup products that are made with natural ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals. Moreover, they all are made from natural plant-based ingredients and thus are not harmful for any skin type. They have for the first time launched products with baking soda in it which seems to have skin-improving properties. I did not date to try a new range but I can certainly recommend their bio-retinol and vitamin c products. I have been using them from the past 15 days and did not see any major side effects on my skin.
