1. Belty belt (Thik hai meme)
This video was released by a couple who share their grief of how the girl’s growthinsta parents won’t accept the guy(sitting next to her) as her boyfriend and also would be husband. She expressed that sticks and stones may break her bones but she is not going to leave her boyfriend. She has sent this message to her parents and expressed that even though she gets beaten by leather belt, her mind won’t change. Belty belt is an expression used by her which means getting beaten multiple times with leather belt.
2. Baap ko mat sikha
This is a very famous dialogue by Akshay Kumar. Although, the image is taken from movie ‘Deewane Hue Paagal’ but the dialogue is from a different movie. They are merged together to form a meme which is used to express the over-confidence to do a task. This dialogue ‘Ha malum hai chal apne baap ko mat sikha’ literally translates to ‘Yes I know this very well, don’t teach you dad’. As a figure of speech this’d mean ‘don’t teach your dad how to fuck’.
3. Thain Thain
This incident took place in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. UP Police was on an encounter mission where when chasing the criminals, they tried to shoot them only to realize that their pistols are jammed. Thus, criminals got the time to take a lead and hide in a jungle. Which is when cops used their super fast brain to scare the criminals by mocking the sound of gunfire by their voice ‘Thain Thain’.
4. Chai pi lo (Hello fraands)
This aunt appeared in a series of videos on famous video app called Tik Tok (earlier musical.ly). She was often seen doing very small clips of household chores like cutting vegetable, having tea etc in which she invites and shares her life updates with the audience. However, an element of humor is added to the video when she made a video mispronouncing the word ‘friend’ and also sipping tea from a bathing mug. In another most viral video of her, she is seen draped in sari probably going to some wedding. She appears in front of video and suddenly her son photo bombs it, and in the next moment getting shoved so bad by her mother to fall off out of the frame.
5. Bhosardi wale chacha (Mirzapur memes)
Mirzapur is a popular Indian series released by Amazon Prime. It is a crimes based series which caught mass attention because of very blunt dialogue delivery and excessive use of abusive and violent language. This series gave meme makers a lot of meme templates. A lot of dialogues from this series are making rounds in form of memes. This particular image(represented above) has been taken from the last episode of season 1 during which Munna bhaiya invades a wedding to kill Bablu.
6. None of your business
This dialogue is taken from Salman Khan’s movie Race 3. Movie was a very big flop despite it did huge business. Nonetheless, the movie was lacking script and also serious dialogues were really funny. The complete dialogue which got trolled is, “Out business is our business, none of your business”.
7. Salman Khan flying (Race 3)
This meme is also taken from Race 3 movie. Salman Khan was seeing flying in the air in a weird costume and doing some impossible stunts. A lot of different types of meme are formed using this template.
8. I’m not yaar (Mind your lenguaze)
Few year ago, a video hit viral in which a young girl was arguing with Devkinandan thakur about superstitious activities regarding god. When the girl did not get any logical reasoning form DN Thakur, she casually passes a jargon ‘Yaar’ (commonly used by friends, like amigo, homie etc). To which DN Thakur replies mispronouncing the statement as ,’Mind your lenguze, I’m not yaar’ (Mind your language, I am not ‘yaar’).
9. Apun hi bhagwan hai meme (Sacred Games memes)
Sacred Games is a famous crime drama series launched by Netflix in 2018. This Indian web series featured some really popular names of Bollywood like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazudding Siddiqui etc. Many memes formed using the refrences of Sacred Games characters, dialogues and images. Of which the above shared meme was popularly used. ‘Kabhi Kabhi lagta hai ki apun hi bhagwan hai’ this simply translates to ‘Sometimes I feel like I am the god’.
10. Sui Dhaga meme
Sui Dhaga is a Bollywood movie released in 2018. Movie’s trailer revealed Anushka Sharma in a totally differnet avatar which did not settle well with internet trolls. The above image became an important meme fodder for a lot of meme makers but later on this meme became a normie and eventually dead as no one was using it. Memes from this movie gave a lot of mileage to the movie and helped in the over all grossing.
11. Ek ladki thi diwani si
This is a recent meme trend in which a very famous Bollywood dialogue from the movie ‘Mohabbatein’ is twisted in different variations. Original dialogue goes like, ‘Ek ladki thi diwani si, jabh bhi milti thi mujhse yehi pucha karti thi’. A lot of memes went viral using this dialogue in the end of December 2018.
12. Rocky superstar
He is a Vigo app fame personality. Famous for his weird lopsided smile and over-confident dialogues about his personality, this boy achieved fame through memes and funny videos. He calls himself Rocky Superstar.
13. Addict ho chuka tha (Sanju memes)
This is a three part strip meme taken from the movie ‘Sanju’. This meme dsecribes in three dialogues, how the protagonist from the movie takes drugs for the first time to just try, second time to feel better and by third time, he was already addict. On the similar note, a lot of memes released describing a story via this three picture meme tale.

#01 Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe
This meme in 2017, spread like fire in the jungle. It got circulated more than any other meme in India. So much that vendors started selling posters and T-shirts with these memes imprinted.
It wouldn’t have made such an impact if it wasn’t for Amrish Puri’s portrayal of a bad lustful guy in most of his movies. This made this meme stand out from the rest of the memes out there.
The meaning of this meme (aao kabhi haveli pe) is “come to my mansion sometime” implying a rich man asking a girl to his place. This meme was used for almost anything, whether it was to “Tag a hot guy/girl in your friend list” Or a name reference.

This meme was made just before the death of our cherished actor Mr. Om Puri. What made this meme funny was the fact that his name was trolled. #05 Chaliye Iss Khel Ko Agey Bhadaya Jaye
Most of the guys can relate to this meme. We all know the happiness and excitement we feel when our crush likes or loves our profile picture and the rush to make a move.
